Album presented by John Parker, an executive of the London office of Anthony Hordern & Sons, to Mr W. Cockburn of the Sydney office.
Shows interior and exterior views of the London offices, staff and the receiving room. One photograph shows John Parker in his office (p.4) with a framed portrait of Samuel Hordern on the wall as well as a large framed montage of the Sydney staff which reads: 'Presented to Mr John Parker as a souvenir of his visit to Sydney, January 1894'. Another photograph appears to show a young Samuel Hordern II in an office (p.3).
Interior views are very detailed, revealing interesting company artifacts and maps decorating the offices, including a framed view of the Anthony Hordern & Sons building, Haymarket, Sydney (p.11). There is also a wooden board which records the movements of various staff: Mr Hordern, Mr Parker, Mr Booth, Mr Cockburn, Mr Hayter.
