    Rory Barnes was born in 1946. He has published several books including 'Bomb-Monger's Daughter' (1984) and 'Water from the Moon' (1989). He has been the recipient of an Aust. Creative Writing Fellowship, Stanford University and a Literary Board Fellowship.
    Peter Corris is one of Australia's most popular and successful writers of crime fiction. He is best known for his Cliff Hardy series and has also written the Pokerface series, the Browning series and three Luke Dunlop novels. Other publications include four historical novels, a history of boxing and co-written biographies of Fred Hollows and Ray Barrett.
