  • General note

    CENEF (Church of England National Emergency Fund) opened a hut at St Andrews Cathedral in February 1940 for the welfare of troops and auxillary forces during World War II. The original huts were demolished in September 1947 but CENEF continued on assisting the rehabilitation of ex-servicemen and women at different headquarters
