    Bring the Frigates Home Coalition was a socialist peace movement based in Sydney, which organized protest events against the deployment of Australian Navy frigates in the Persian Gulf War, 1990 – 1991. The war was waged by a UN-authorized coalition force from 34 nations, including Australia, led by the United States, against Iraq in response to Iraq's invasion and annexation of Kuwait.
