  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Toganmain Station, Hay was purchased by Thomas Robertson Snr in blocks commencing in 1867. He also purchased Brewarrina Station in 1873 and sold it in 1878. Telleraga Station, Moree was purchased by John Seymour Robertson in 1914 and sold in 1936. Toganmain was sold by John S. Robertson in 1988.
  • Scope and Content
    This collection documents the pastoral activities of Thomas Robertson (1824-1904), his son John Seymour Robertson (1812-1958) and subsequent members of the Robertson family.
    The station records within this collection provide a graphic picture of the day-to-day running of a large pastoral enterprise. Most of the records relate to Toganmain. There are references to Brewarrina in the earliest records, and the Telleraga records are contained in one series.
