Una Caroline Le Souef was one of nine children born to Albert Alexander Cochrane Le Souef and Caroline (nee Cotton). Una married Otway Falkiner, (third son of Franc Sadlier Falkiner), in 1910. Otway was a sheep-breeder who from 1914-1953 was managing director of F.S. Falkiner & Sons and operated the Boonoke North and Wanganella Estates. Una illustrated two children's books by David Millar, titled "The garden of life" and "The spider's telephone wire" -- Reference: Australian Dictionary of Biography. Vol.10, 1891-1939 / edited by B.
