Musica Viva Australia is one of the world's leading presenters of chamber music, nurturing both established and emerging talent from around the country and the world. Founded in 1945 in Sydney by the violist Richard Goldner, Musica Viva is Australia’s oldest independent professional performing arts organisation, presenting more than 2,500 concerts each year across Australia and around the world to the widest possible range of audiences, and commissioning and programming new Australian works.
Musica Viva also offers a variety of educational programs for all ages ranging from Pre-School to Seniors, including Musica Viva In Schools (MVIS) - reaching close to 300,000 students annually.
