    Dr Karen F. McDowell is a solicitor who worked for the New Zealand Foreign Service before becoming Head of the Nauru Foreign Service.
  • Scope and Content
    Research material collected by Karen McDowell for her doctoral thesis 'Constitutional Development in Nauru', La Trobe University, 1987. It consists mainly of photocopies of newspaper articles, journal articles, books, government reports, yearbooks, law reports, parliamentary debates and United Nations publications as well as letters from academics and public servants, all as listed in the bibliography which is included in the collection.
