Geoffrey Hamilton Gore, architect, commenced his architectural education in 1916 at the Sydney Technical College. He began practicing as a registered architect in the early 1920's and continued working until the early 1970's. His designs include examples of residential houses, schools, shops, churches and clubs. Many of the design projects are situated in and around Campbelltown where the architect lived throughout his career. The collection is particularly representative of Methodist church building architecture in suburban Sydney, ca. 1957-1967, Royal Australian Institute of Architects papers related to a registered member, ca. 1930-1959 and the business papers of a practicing architect in Sydney, ca. 1920-1973.
