  Martens' Account book (Dixson Library ref. DL MS 142) lists the sale of this work, 27 November 1835: 'Illawarra Lake W.[illiam] M[a]cArthur Esq. [ten guineas]. This was exchanged for Mr [John] Manning's View of the Five Islands'.
