Frederick Danvers Power immigrated to Australia in 1895 from England, and worked as a mining engineer principally in N.S.W. and Victoria. He lectured on Mining in the Dept. of Geology, University of Sydney, and published a large body of work on the subjects of mining and mining engineering.
