These illustrations were drawn to illustrate W.M. Fleming's "Bunyip Told Me", London, which was published in 1926
These illustrations are mainly vignette drawings of Australian native animals such as kangaroos, emus, bower birds, lyre birds, pelicans, koalas, platypuses and wombats

A number of drawings are signed "H. Sands" and some are dated 1925
On the reverse of PXB 395/1 is inscribed "Frontispiece border for "Bunyip Told Me" by Henry S. Sands"
