Stephanie Claire has published two children's books, 'The Painted Statue' (1987) and 'Three Golden Rainbows' (1989). Both books deal with the theme of multiculturalism and are illustrated by artist Salvatore Zofrea. Claire and Anna Waldmann published 'Salvatore Zofrea' (1983), the story of the artist's life and an appraisal of his work. Claire has also written three readers published by the National Centre for English Language Teaching and Research, 'We came to Australia' (1997), 'A knock at the door' (1997) and 'The girl next door' (1997).
In 1999 Stephanie Claire published 'The Unfinished Tapestry of Time: The story of Eileen Marguerite Pearce, Sister Victoire AM of the Order of Sisters of Charity, NSW Australia' as told to Stephanie Claire. The book tells the story of Sister Victoire in her own words based on a series of taped interviews conducted by Claire.
Stephanie Claire has also written fifteen short essays on 'The Appassionata', a series of woodcuts by Salvatore Zofrea. The essays are based on taped interviews of Zofrea conducted by Claire.
