    Manuscript note on reverse by Emily Anne Rodd (nee Blaxland) explaining the relationship of John Oxley Parker to John and Gregory Blaxland of New South Wales. A further note in the hand of the donor (1968) states that Gregory Blaxland's published account of the crossing of the Blue Mountains (1823) was dedicated by his nephew to John Oxley Parker.
