  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Ann Butt-D'Hau, 1934-2009, was a dancer, teacher and choreographer. Her qualifications include a Master of Arts in Dance Teacher Qualifications from Macquarie University in 1980, and Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education at University of Sydney in 1970. She tutored and lectured at Macquarie University between1975-1979.

    In 1977, she was convener of the NSW branch of Australian Association of Dance Education (AADE), now Ausdance, and became its first National President in 1979. She coordinated Dance Week between 1977-1983. From 1978-1996 she was a delegate at Biennial Conferences of Dance Education at the University of New England, and was convener and coordinator of AADE National Conferences between 1978-1980.
  • Scope and Content
    This collection comprises conference papers and course outlines of tertiary dance courses in N.S.W., and the minutes of meetings of the Australian Association for Dance Education, now Ausdance.
