Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia) Limited was incorporated in 1913, under Managing Director E.T. Fisk, to manufacture radios and establish direct wireless services between Australia and other countries. By 1930, it had branched out into telegraphy, telephony, coastal and marine communications and broadcasting.
