  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Hilton Ariel (b. 1948) has been a teacher of industrial arts in New South Wales for more than 25 years. He completed a Teacher’s Certificate (Industrial Arts) in 1967 and began teaching industrial arts at Walgett High School in 1968. He moved to Crows Nest Boys High School in 1971, Balgowlah High School in 1972, and Courallie High School in 1976, where he became Head Teacher, Industrial Arts. Ariel completed a Diploma of Industrial Arts (Education) in 1974, and a Graduate Diploma of Educational Studies (School Administration) in 1989. He was a member of the Institute of Industrial Arts (North West Branch), and Inaugural member and Secretary of the North West Region Industrial Arts Committee (1976-1978). He also served as Secretary (1980-1984) and Treasurer (1987-1991, 1993-1994) of the N.S.W. Teachers Federation, Moree Association.
