Vashti Farrer (1942-), also Vasthi Waterhouse, freelance writer and reviewer, was born on 19 August 1942. Originally an advertising copywirter and research librarian, she has published a number of books and plays and contributed to major metropolitan newspapers, national journals and anthologies. Her work has won Literature Board Grants, the Canberra Times National Short Story Competition, the Alexandra Hasluck Award, and the Botany Bay Bicentennial Competition. This collection focuses on her works for broadcast.
