  Lobbs Hole (also called Ravine) Post Office was the home of the Yan family. George Yan (1871-1952) was the postmaster in the 1920s, on an annual salary of 30 pounds. He is shown in the photograph, seated on the right, while in the doorway is his wife, Clare Jane Yan (née Hetherington). They had eleven children.
