Phyllis Mander-Jones, librarian and bibliographer, was Mitchell Librarian from 1946 to 1957. From 1960 she worked in London with the Australian Joint Copying Project and published 'Guide to Manuscripts in the British Isles Relating to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific'. Peter H. Saunders was Liason Officer for the National Library in London and a close friend of Phyllis Mander-Jones.
