  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Dr Gordon Bradley Lowe (1890-1956), physician, graduated in medicine from Sydney University in 1915. He served in the Army Medical Corps during World War I and after the war under took postgraduate training in the United Kingdom. On his return to Sydney he became Honorary Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to the Royal Hospital for Women until his retirement in 1950. He had a thriving practice in Croydon and was also Honorary Paediatric Surgeon at Randwick Hospital for Infants, Honorary Surgeon at Western Suburbs Hospital and a director of The Benevolent Society.
