    Arthur Morris is considered by keen judges to be one of Australia's greatest opening batsmen. He was an important member of Don Bradman's 1948 Invincibles' and played in 46 tests (two as captain) in a career spanning the years 1946 to 1955. During the 1953 tour of England he scored four centuries, making 1302 runs in all.

    Typewritten five page contract regarding the Australian Cricket team's tour of England in 1953. This was Arthur Morris' copy. It is unsignedbut is inscribed 'A.R. Morris' on the front page. The contract covers the voyage to England, matches and functions to be attended, accommodation, selection and executive committees, payment (650 pounds per player), expenses, provision of cap, sweater, blazer, tie etc.
