Bridges was an Australian cricket journalist who travelled with many international teams between the two wars. - Scope and ContentUnpublished typed manuscript in which the author relates "tales of out-standing personalities in Anglo-Australian cricket" in the period between the two world wars including Jack Gregory, Bert Oldfield, Charles Macartney, Herbert Collins, Clarrie Crimmett, Bill O'Reilly, Bill Woodfull, Stan McCabe, Bill Ponsford, Don Bradman, Jack Hobbs, Percy Chapman, Walter Hammond and Frank Woolley. The foreword is by former Australian wicket keeper, Bert Oldfield and a sheet of his letterhead autographed twice by him has been inserted.
