Harry Job (1909-1996) magician, was born in Parkes. He developed an interest in magic when the family moved to Sydney in 1916. Between 1919-1924, Will Andrade established his magic and theatrical business in Sydney. By 1930s Job was an accomplished magician and manager of Andrade's Magic Department, and later took over the business and the name Will Andrade, following a fatal accident in 1939. In World War II, he entertained troops at camp concerts and in hospitals. He was with the British Commonwealth Occupation Forces Unit (BCOF) in Japan in 1948 and was the magician in ‘Myles of Smiles’ concert party that toured Japan at war’s end.
