    VOLUME 1
8 photographs, 2 printed programs and 1 printed menu. These include a 1901 portrait of Dame Nellie Melba, programs for 27 September 1902 & 2 March 1927 concerts; and a car elaborately decorated (for a wedding?) with materia, flowers - including an arch of roses - and 2 swans on the bonnet. Many of the items are signed by Melba

    VOLUME 2
40 photographs which include Helen Lempriere's father; Helen as an infant; and Helen as a young woman on a farm

    VOLUME 3
33 formal and studio photographs of Helen Lempriere. A number (H.J. Vallance and Monteath studios) show her as a very young girl c.1910. There are also high quality studio portraits of her 1925-30 (many inscribed and dated by her). Three, by Heather George, show her as a sculpture student, possibly at the artist's colony at Montsalvat, Eltham in Victoria

    VOLUME 4
Album of Lempriere family photographs (c.1909-1930); principally of Helen

    VOLUME 5
Album of photographs, probably of Helen Lempriere's sculptures. Also includes photographs of the contruction of the artist's colony at Montsalvat, Eltham in Victoria.

    VOLUME 6
Album of photographs recording the construction of Helen Lempriere's home in Hunters Hill, "Towri", between 1947 and 1949. Includes formal photos of Helen in her painting studio, and her writer-husband Keith Wood at his typewriter.

    VOLUME 7
Hand-constructed album of photographs of Towri

    VOLUME 8
Album of photographs of a poodle owned by Lempriere. The album appears to have been a present from Keith Wood in December 1958.

    VOLUME 9
Miscellaneous photographs of Helen Lempriere and Keith Wood in Europe in the early 1950s (eg. Florence in 1950) and Helen's Paris studio in 1957 (including studio parties).

    VOLUME 10
Photographs and negatives of Helen Lempriere's 1958 and 1960 New York Chase Gallery openings, and her 1960 Chase Gallery catalogue

    VOLUME 11
Photographs mainly of Keith Wood, showing him as a child and as an officer during the Second World War. Also included are photographs of Keith Wood and Helen Lempriere immediately after their marriage, photos taken of the couple in New York in the late 1950s, and some of them in Sydney in 1966.

    VOLUME 12
Black and white photographs of Helen Lempriere's work. These have been taken in Paris, London and in Sydney (some by Kerry Dundas). Some of the photographs are titled, others have a 6 numeral number on the reverse which can referenced to a register (kept with the photographs) which gives titles to paintings photographed in London. About one third of these appear to record an exhibition at Leicester Galleries, London. There is also a collection of photographs of works based on Cambodian themes which Lempriere exhibited in a solo exhibition held at David Jones in 1969.

    VOLUME 13
99 35 ml colour slides of Lempriere's work. Most of these slides appear to have been taken by Lempriere during the 1960s as a record of her work.

    VOLUME 14
Colour photocopy (copied Oct. 1998) of photo-album compiled to record a retrospective of Lempriere's work held at the Woolloomooloo Gallery, Sydney, Oct. 1993. Also a photocopy of catalogue, written by Joan Kerr, published to accompany the retrospective.

    VOLUME 15
16 mm film, probably by Keith Wood, of Lempriere's paintings, entitled "Marine Reel 2"
