The Australian Hymn Book Editorial Committee included Canon Lawrence Bartlett (Chairman), Professor Wesley Milgate (Executive Editor), Trisha Matthias (Music Editor) and W. R. Murray (executive Secretary). It released a number of reports towards a revised edition of the Australian Hymn Book (1977), reinstating some previously omitted hymns and including new material. The new hymn book, Together in Song: Australian Hymn Book II, was published in 1999.
