The Institute of Technology Education is a professional association of teachers, administrators, tertiary educators, and people within industry. It was formerly known as the Institute of Industrial Arts. Its primary objective is to promote industry and technology within general education at all levels. The Institute is a Limited Liability Company, first registered in 1966, under the Companies Act in NSW.
