Jesse and Julia Boxx have home schooled their children since 1991. In 1996 they were refused registration by the NSW Department of Education for their younger daughter, and re-registration for five of their other children, after refusing to comply with Board of Study guidelines which they considered unlawful. After a dispute lasting nearly 18 months, registration was finally granted for all nine of their children currently being home schooled.

School term records for ten of the Boxx children, ranging from Kindergarten to Year 12 level, including examples of work and weekly record sheets, with a table of weekly themes at the beginning of each term’s papers. The papers are arranged chronologically, then by name of child.
