In the same year they founded 'That Was Fast', a dance company which produced poetry, dance, theatre, film and video. Together they have created a range of works which combine Allen's poetry with dance performance. They have performed in the USA, Europe and Australia. In 1995 they were appointed joint artistic directors of Tasdance in Launceston. They resigned in 1997.
