Includes personal and family papers (letters, diaries, printed matter relating to Bell's parents Elva Rogers and Jack Bell); a business archive (accounts, invoices, cashbooks, tax records, wages sheets, appointment diaries, union and other business correspondence); records of Bell's leading jazz band and their numerous overseas tours (tour diaries, correspondence, publicity material, scrapbooks, ephemera); papers about the history of jazz in Australia (papers dealing with the first jazz convention 1946, Graeme Bell's first overseas tour 1947-48); radio talks and articles; manuscripts and research material relating to his autobiography; posters (some European posters from the 1940s); and photographs covering the whole period.
