    Frederick Hall was a prolific composer and a popular orchestral conductor. Over 300 of his compositions were published in his lifetime. In 1928 he was appointed musical director of 3LO Radio in Melbourne. He retired as music editor for Allan's in Melbourne in 1938, and he died in 1953.
