Gladys Sandford and Stella Christie left Sydney on 4th March 1927 by Essex Six and drove to Perth, then Darwin via Adelaide and return to Sydney via Melbourne - Scope and ContentScenes and activities during their trip, including the car getting bogged and breaking down, Aboriginal people on stations, and outback wildlife such as goannas, snakes and crocodiles
