    Fanny Josephine Broughton, was born in Sydney in 1840, the daughter of Thomas Stafford and Jane (nee Tindale) Broughton. In 1865 she married Austin Thomas Wilshire, eldest son of Austin Forrest and Eliza (nee Pitt) Wilshire; they had eight children.

    Bible [1846] inscribed and presented to Fanny Broughton in 1861 by her colleagues at the Sunday School of St. Mathias' Church, Paddington; contains a copy of her marriage certificate, a portrait of Anglican clergyman William Macquarie Cowper, a prayer and poem, notes and genealogical information recorded by Fanny Wilshire about her children and grandchildren; details about the children of Dora Estelle Dent (nee Wilshire) have been added at a later date
