    Ida Wilga Morgan (nee Fry) was born in 1903, the fifth child of Arthur and Carrie Fry. She completed four years of training as a nurse at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children in 1927, and later trained in obstetric nursing. In 1939 she married Major C. Eric Morgan and they lived for a time at 'Denegully', Wilga's family home at Lindfield.
