Tom Molomby, barrister and author, worked for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation for eighteen years on programs such as 'This Day Tonight' and 'Four Corners', and was one the founders of Radio National’s 'Law Report'. He served as the staff-elected Director on the Board of the ABC from 15 Dec. 1983 to 14 June 1988, the period that saw the arrival and departure of Geoffrey Whitehead, against whom he took court action, and the arrival of David Hill. In 1991 Molomby published ‘Is there a moderate on the roof?: ABC years', an account of his experiences at the ABC.
