Frank Hinder was commissioned by the Carroll Society to illustrate a special edition of Lewis Carroll's The Hunting of the Snark. The book, which also includes two poems by Frank Hinder and a biographical note, was launched at the First International Lewis Carroll Conference, Oxford University in 1989.
