Edward Fuller was a convict transported to Sydney, NSW from England. The letter is addressed to him "at Mrs McArthers" - Scope and Content1814; Sarah Ancell is most anxious about her son's welfare and concerned as to how she may send money to him; she mentions family news and the cost of various foods. She dictated the letter to William Lyes, Edward Fuller's uncle, who also writes on his own behalf.
