    Marsden Hordern is the grandson of Edward Carr Hordern.

    Iris Mary Hordern, nee White, daughter of Walter David White and Mary, nee Hodge, married the Rev. Frederick Hugh Hordern, son of Edward Carr Hordern of Hordern Brothers, Sydney, on 12 November 1914. They had six children, Mary, Iris Noel (known as Noel), Hugh, Marsden, John and Ian. Marsden Hordern is most notably a researcher and published author of Australian historical non fiction, and business owner of Hilton Hordern in Neutral Bay, Sydney, an art print business and gallery.
