Scope and Content
"This collection records a village where architectural and social attributes were influenced by French, Italian and English. It records artwork and habitat of Aboriginal people; mansions; simple cottages; street and lane scenes; dry stone walls; historic areas and the village shops, schools, churches and businesses. It incorporates records of great disasters; the foreshores and fight to save Kelly's Bush; beautiful public and private gardens; aerial photographs; early pioneers and residents; and images of houses since demolished. Also included are images by unknown photographers."
