    At the age of 13 Fred Wymark joined Angus & Robertson as an assistant to the founder David Angus (ca.1885). He remained with the firm all his working life, becoming a part owner and director.
    Norman Lindsay (1879-1969) was born in Creswick, Victoria. Primarily noted as an artist of great versatility, he also wrote novels, essays, literary criticism, art appreciation and reminiscence.
  • Scope and Content
    Undated letter from Norman Lindsay refusing to endorse publication of a book of his aphorisms, or indeed any book of his which is to be offered to the Australian public. However he goes on to praise the Bulletin, stating that he doesn't mind it republishing any of his works.
