Harold Power was a member of the Commonwealth Party that relieved Australasian Antarctic Expedition meterologists at Macquarie Island between December 1913 and December 1914. This letter was written, according to the typed transcript, to a former colleague at the Commonwealth Meterological Bureau in Melbourne. Power left Macquarie Island on the Endeavour in December 1914.
