Robert Stockdale came to Australia in 1858 and joined his uncle Edward Stockdale, who had arrived in 1838, on a horse and cattle station in South Australia. Petricia Brodie was born on a cattle station near Murrurundi in New South Wales in 1840 and had a relationship with a man named Gray who worked there. Their son William Gray was born in 1861. John Shaw came to Australia about 1874 and lived at Hindmarsh, South Australia. In 1882 his wife Sarah and two sons, Francis Michael and Ernest Herbert, joined him. - Name
