- ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY
The Jindiandy Dairy Factory was founded ca.1840 by Alexander Berry at Jindy Andy in the Shoalhaven district. By 1847, 360 cows were being milked. However in 1865 labour was so scarce that dairying at the Berry estate ceased. The Fresh Food and Ice Company was the last to use the building as a milk receival depot. The operation closed down in 1927. - Name
