Teri Peta Wall was born in New Zealand on 17 March 1963. He moved to Sydney in April 1981. In August 1988 he established the Boy Sydney Agency (BSA), an organisation that ran dance parties, fashion parades and other social and corporate/business events that focussed on the gay community. In 1993 Wall founded the community association P.L.A.S.T.I.C. - "People Living with AIDS Standing Tall in Celebration", formed with the aim of granting wishes to financially disadvantaged people living with HIV & AIDS, and he organised various awareness-raising and fundraising events in connection with the association.
