    191. Partly submerged harbour craft, former Sydney ferry damaged by submarine attack in abortive Japanese raid [note the photograph has been changed to delete the identification of the exact position in Sydney Harbour]
    192-193. Another view of the submerged craft, which sunk in shallow water
    194-195. On May 31st 1942, Australia made its first acquaintance with Japanese submarines. Three of them sneaked into Sydney Harbour and their combined efforts resulted in the sinking of a small harbour vessel of no military value.
