    J.S. Millard was employed by J. Wildridge & Sinclair Pty Ltd, a firm which had been sub-contracted by Selmers, a Norwegian firm. Their work was on the Guthega Project and involved coating the inside of the penstock (or pipeline) with enamel. The penstock carried water from the outlet of the Guthega-Munyang pipeline to the turbines at Munyang Power Station, 720 feet below.

He also comments about the features of daily life, eg, accommodation, wages, accidents, medical facilities and the variety of nationalities employed on the Scheme.
