  • Scope and Content
    VOLUME 1
    Album contains a brief typed (in Italian) chronology of Rubbo's life, a 1906 portrait photograph of Rubbo, a large number of photographs of his paintings which are identified and are often accompanied by an exhibition history and location, a photograph of the interior of his art school and a photograph of an illuminated address given to Rubbo by his students (who have signed it) in 1902.
    Embossed on front cover "A. Dattilo Rubbo, artista-pittore, Sydney".

    Sketchbook of pencil drawings, mainly made during a European tour of 1907

    VOLUME 3
    Family photographs which include: sons Mark and Sydney and other family members (no.s 33-44 & 77-82) ; Mildred Russell Jobson, Dattilo-Rubbo's wife (no.s 15-32) ; Dattilo-Rubbo on a sketching trip with Brucie and Elsa Russell (no.46) ; Dattilo-Rubbo with Justice Herbert William Moffitt (no.45) ; Will (John William) Ashton (probably) with caravan (no.58)

    Includes photograph of an oil portrait of Dattilo-Rubbo by Frances Ellis with photocopied inscription "If at my death, the Press like to publish a photo of myself - this is the one I wish to be reproduced - and no others" (no.66)

    Includes 2 photographs of art society selection committees: 1 unidentified (no.60) ; and 1 of 1926 Royal Art Society of NSW selection committee
