  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Thomas Masterton Hardy-Johnston was born in Belfast in 1817. He became a civil engineer and spent most of his working life in various parts of India. In 1872 he emigrated to New Zealand. His son, Thomas Edward Hardy-Johnston, spent some time living in Durban, South Africa with his family. Roslyn Olivia Lambie is the daughter of Thomas Edward Hardy-Johnston.
