  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Barbara Rosalind Fulton was born in Tasmania in 1899 the youngest daughter of James and Annie Fulton; soon after the family settled at `Underbank House' near Dungog, N.S.W., where they had a dairy farm. She was educated at the University of Sydney, early 1920s, and undertook further studies at Cambridge University, England, 1934-35. She was with the YWCA War Service in the Middle East, 1942-43 and spent many years before and after the war working in India. After returning to Australia she taught at various private girls' schools in Sydney
