    Amelia Koh-Butler discusses growing up in a mixed-race family in Sydney in the 1960s and the challenges experienced. She talks about her Chinese father's family background and her mother's Scottish ancestry. Koh-Butler talks about her studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music as a singer, her move to France, and travels through Europe to pursue her career as an opera singer.

    Koh-Butler discusses her return to Sydney and her turning point from opera singer to a clergywoman with the Uniting Church. She talks in detail of her ministry work, which combines her experience in music and interculturalism. Koh-Butler discusses her introduction to the Women's Club and how it benefited her, meeting accomplished women in her younger years. She also talks about the networking opportunities and the changing nature of the club.
